aladdin

aladdin was released 18 November 1993 in the uk. Won 2 Oscars. Another 20 wins & 15 nominations. Aladdin, a street urchin, accidentally meets Princess Jasmine, who is in the city undercover. They love each other, but she can only marry a prince. The movie Aladdin is hilariously told with many many MANY funny moments. The genie his an all-time high in this classic film about a street rat and a princess. A great movie for young kids, but even adults will love the wonderfully amusing lines through out the story. The songs in the movie are well-known and catchy.

Though the film was a box-office flop when first released, several years later it became the Disney studio's most requested 16mm film rental title for colleges and private individuals. In 1974, the studio took note of this fact, withdrew the rental prints, and reissued the film nationally themselves. it was released 26 July 1951 (in the UK)
Lewis Carroll's famous story of Alice and her adventures after falling down a rabbit hole. Following a white rabbit, she meets such strange creatures as a talking doorknob, who helps her through a keyhole into Wonderland; Tweedledum and Tweedledee, who tell the story of "The Walrus and the Carpenter"; the Caterpillar; and the Mad Hatter and the March Hare, who celebrate an unbirthday at their tea party. Finally Alice has a showdown with the Queen of Hearts and her army of playing cards. The whole thing becomes such a nightmare that Alice awakens from her dream to the recitations of her sister and the purring of her cat, Dinah.

This is one of the most charming, magical movies ever! It is an adaptation of James Barrie's Peter Pan, the story of the boy who wouldn't grow up. It starts in London, where a very proper Wendy has one night left in the nursery before she most grow up. Her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Darling are out for an office party, and the nursemaid, a dog named Nana is tied up outside for the night. Peter Pan comes and takes Wendy and her brothers John and Micheal away to Neverland, "the second star to the right and staight on til morning", with the help of the pixie dust from the jealous little pixie Tinkerbell. A sprinkling of the dust makes them fly, just like Peter does. Once in Neverland they encounter mermaids, Indians, and the foppish, but evil villian Captain Hook. This beloved story will bring you back to your childhood and this delightful score will be hard to forget! This is a wonderful movie that can be enjoyed by children and adults!

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs

snow white and the seven dwarfs was released 12 March 1938 (UK), it was Nominated for an Oscar and Another 9 wins & 2 nominations. in the film Dopey initially was to be a talking dwarf, but was made mute when a suitable voice was not found. Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs is the first full-length animated feature (83 minutes in length) in color and with sound, one of Disney's greatest films, and a pioneering classic tale in film history. It was financed due in part to the success of Disney's earlier animated short, The Three Little Pigs (1933). Although dubbed "Disney's Folly" during the three-four year production of the musical animation, Disney realized that he had to expand and alter the format of cartoons.raised by a wicked and vain Queen (voice of Lucille La Verne), beautiful Snow White (voice of nineteen year-old Adriana Caselotti) is taken into the forest to be murdered. However, the Huntsman (voice of Stuart Buchanan) cannot commit the horrible deed, so she flees and finds refuge in the home of seven diamond-mine workers/dwarfs. When the Queen discovers that Snow White is still alive, she transforms herself into an old hag and brings a poisonous apple to the young girl. A kiss from Prince Charming (voice of Harry Stockwell) rouses Snow White from her deep slumber. The film is sprinkled with wonderful, sing-along songs including "Heigh Ho," "Whistle While You Work," and "Someday My Prince Will Come" - none of them were considered in the Best Song nominating category.

lady and the tramp

lady and the tramp is just one of the amazing films of Disney!!! it was released on the 29 August 1955 (UK). it's a romantic tale of a sheltered uptown Cocker Spaniel dog (lady)and a streetwise downtown Mutt (tramp). lady a young cocker spaniel from a respectable home, falls in love with Tramp, a mutt who lives in the railroad yards. They enjoy several outings together, including a memorable spaghetti dinner by moonlight at Tony's, but their relationship is strained not only by Lady's loyalty to her human family and their newborn baby, but by Tramp's devil-may-care attitude that at one point gets Lady thrown in the dog pound. Tramp redeems himself by saving the baby from a rat and thereby wins Lady's love and the affection of her human family.
